I love getting LO's done. When I finish a project I feel like I told a story and preserved a moment for my family to have forever. Ahhhh....it feels goooood :)
I started a list of the LO's that I want to get done and it keeps growing and growing! As I type this I am thinking of a few more that I have to add to the list! I created a LO tonight using one of Lenise's sketches and it came together so fast because of her awesome inspiration! Now if all my LO's could be that easy :)
I find that when I least expect it I capture a photo that just makes me smile. I was taking a picture of a LO (my scanner is sick, lol) and my little man was at my feet and I turned to him and took this picture. I think it's his beautiful green eyes that grab me. I could stare at it forever.
I needed some scrap therapy today! My mom is so sick and has been in the hospital since Monday. Seeing her like this is so hard . I am so glad I have a POSITIVE way to release my stress....
I created this using the TSS March kit featuring Scenic Route! Dee-lish!!!
I have a beautiful scrap room... I have fabulous supplies... I have awesome pics, like these (my niece & my boy doing dishes with Gigi & Jake).... But where oh where is my mojo? ;)
Another TSS kit LO! This is my little man with a friends dog! David adores animals, especially dogs! Oscar (the dog) is from Alaska and is used to running free and chasing game! So I was a little worried with David being so close to him but Oscar loved the attention my little guy was giving him!
I love snow...it makes me so happy! This is a pic I took from my bathroom window looking out to our driveway and back yard. We ended up getting another 6 or more inches on top of what you see here! I will eventually venture out and get some good pics!
Here are 2 LO's I have created with the March TSS kit featuring Scenic Route. Yum! I love working with these kits because they challenge me. They challenge me to use them in different and unique ways. When I am creating a LO for TSS I am constantly thinking about how I can inspire those who will view my work. It may sound like I am putting pressure on myself. To me, it's just pushing my creativity to the max. :)
Keeping records of your life is so important. I have been putting our lives on paper through scrapbooking for the past 2 years. At first it was something fun to do while my then newborn son slept for hours. Now it has taken on a whole new meaning to me. With each page that I create I am preserving a memory. A moment in time for my family to look back on and relive.
